Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Flight Path Careers collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to flightpathcareers.com and to any booking, email, or messaging correspondence you have with us.
1. Who we are
Flight Path Careers is currently a trading name of Tiffany Dabouz, operating as a sole trader. A limited company is in the process of being registered; once complete, this section will be updated with the company name, number, and registered office address.
Data controller contact: tiffany@flightpathcareers.com, [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS].
2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us when booking or emailing — name, email address, and phone number if provided
- Booking details — service selected, preferred date/time, target airline or role, and any notes you add
- Documents you choose to send us — such as a CV, for the purposes of a CV review or mock interview prep
- Payment information — processed directly by our booking/payment provider; we do not store full card details ourselves
- Basic technical data if analytics or cookies are added in future (none are currently active on this site)
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide the service you've booked (mock interviews, CV review) — necessary to perform our contract with you
- To respond to enquiries sent by email — our legitimate interest in running the business
- To meet legal obligations, e.g. keeping financial records for tax purposes — legal obligation
- To send you service-related updates (e.g. a rescheduled session) — necessary to perform our contract; any marketing communications would only be sent with your separate consent
4. Booking and payment
Bookings and payments are handled via [BOOKING / PAYMENT PROCESSOR NAME(S)]. When you book a session, the information you enter is shared with that provider so they can process your booking and payment. Their own privacy policy governs how they handle your data as an independent data processor/controller for that part of the process. This section will be updated with the specific provider(s) once finalized.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. If that changes — for example, if a booking widget or analytics tool that sets cookies is added — this policy and a cookie consent banner will be updated before that goes live, in line with UK PECR requirements.
6. How long we keep your data
- Booking and correspondence data: retained for the duration of our working relationship plus 24 months, to allow for any follow-up queries and to meet accounting record-keeping obligations
- CVs and documents submitted for review: deleted within 30 days of the review being completed, unless you ask us to retain them for a future session
- Financial records (invoices, payment confirmations): retained for 6 years as required by UK tax law
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers necessary to run the business — currently our booking/payment processor (see Section 4) — and, where legally required, with HMRC or other authorities.
8. International transfers
Some service providers we use (e.g. booking or email tools) may be based outside the UK. Where that's the case, we rely on the provider's own UK/EU-adequacy safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data remains protected. This section will be updated with specifics once our booking and payment providers are confirmed.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to our legal retention obligations
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled
To exercise any of these rights, email tiffany@flightpathcareers.com. We aim to respond within one month.
Flight Path Careers' ICO registration reference: [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER] (registration in progress).
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including using reputable third-party providers for booking, payment, and email.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults applying for cabin crew or pilot roles. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business develops (for example, once the limited company is registered, or if a booking/payment provider or analytics tool is added). Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
